About Strativa

I'm Jacque - the founder of Strativa.

I've worked across industries from tourism and IT to finance, primary industries and economic development, and I've seen the same challenges everywhere: businesses full of great ideas and smart strategies that get stuck when it comes to execution.

That's where I come in.  I'm not here to hand over a report and walk away - I roll up my sleeves and help you get things done.  Whether it's a new product idea or stepping in as your extra pair of hands when things get busy, my focus is simple: turning ideas into action.

I started Strativa because I love seeing businesses move from stuck to sorted, and leaders feeling lighter because they've finally got the support they need.

 I started out in accounting, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2009. After a few years in Audit and management accounting, the OE dream took me to Edinburgh where I worked in banking—before realising accounting wasn’t really my passion.

That’s when I moved into Business Analysis at a software company, later relocating to Brno, Czech Republic, to set up a new Systems Analysis function. It was there I discovered how much I love growing teams and leading projects.

Eventually, home called me back to New Zealand, where I focused on project management and delivery in the Economic Development space, then went on to hold leadership roles across a range of industries—always known for getting things done.

What’s always driven me, though, is helping businesses grow, especially small and medium-sized ones. So, after having two kids, instead of returning to corporate life, I launched Strativa - chasing flexibility and doing what I love: helping businesses thrive.
